The active members of the CINC, those scientists who have at least one research project anchored in the CINC, elect the board of the CINC during the general assembly. This board is composed of a directorate, which is elected from the chair holders, and a mid-level representative. This board elects a spokesperson from its ranks. The spokesperson presides over the board of directors and manages the business of the research center. The spokesperson is supported by the executive board, which advises the board, prepares workshops and events and supports members of the CINC in the preparation of funding applications.
